"Father of Suns: A Skywalker's Tale" is a short story written by the ReExpanded Editing Team as the final story in Tales from the Boonta Eve Classic. It was first published online on November 27, 2024[1], alongside "To Be Somebody: The Tale of Mars Guo."
Plot summary
Luke Skywalker returns to Tatooine and reflects on the adventures that shaped his life. While trying to meditate, he encounters a group of amateur podracers and ends up watching the race. As the race ends, a man in the crowd approaches and introduces himself as Kitster Banai, claiming to have once known Skywalker's father. Banai offers Skywalker a ride back into town, which the Jedi accepts.[2]
