Biography
Kyrimorut
While Bardan Jusik had given up his Jedi ways and tried to generally avoid using his lightsaber or the Force, he helped Scout with lightsaber practice in Kyrimorut when she was there. He also wiped the memories of Arla Fett, a procedure with deeply disturbed him, giving him subsequent nightmares. Despite the difficulties it caused, he believed he could use the same technique on Kina Ha, who requested her mind be wiped to protect the location of Kyrimorut. She planned to leave since Dr. Ovolot Qail Uthan had successfully used her genes to reverse the clones' accelerated aging. After a day of surgeries for clones and a night of partying for all, Bardan considered it the happiest day of his life.[2]
However, the Galactic Empire attacked the next morning, and Bardan narrowly escaped after retrieving Uthan's research with help from Mij Gilamar and Walon Vau. He then fled with the rest of Clan Skirata, travelling on the Aay'han.[2]
Regrouping
Bardan then used Force-healing to aid the recovery of Ordo Skirata, who further recovered aboard the Chu'unthor.[2] There, Djinn Altis requested help in aiding the children of the Jedi who were likely to be killed on Belsavis by an impending Imperial attack. Arligan Zey and Maze were quick to join Nor Vald and Ash Jarvee, and in the subsequent silence, Bardan spoke up and volunteered. It resulted in many clones deciding to come along as well.[2] They landed to find the upper part of the settlement destroyed and the Jedi in the tunnels, at which point Ash and Nor got differing voices from the Force on where to go. They decided to split off, with Bardan joining Corr, Atin, and Mereel in a group led by Ash Jarvee. Their venture ultimately found everyone except for So Plett, Lagan Ismaren, and Roganda Ismaren.[2]
Ash would not abandon the two, so she split off once more, this time going with only Corr and Atin. They were unable to find Plett or the children, so once Bardan, Mereel, Ustu, Margolis Mingla, and the younglings reached the hangar, Bardan decided to head back in with Hallena Devis. Before doing so, Mereel learned of the deaths of two other Null ARCs, Kom'rk Skirata and A'den Skirata. It left him very distraught, and Bardan had so calm him with the Force. He and Hallena quickly found Jarvee and her group, but she wanted to continue searching. While they deliberated, they were attacked by Ameesa Darys, who quickly disabled Jarvee via a Force-choke and killed Atin wiht her lightsaber before throwing him at Bardan. Corr was able to injure her well enough that all except for Hallena then were able to flee. They reached the hangar and were able to escape Belsavis aboard the Aay'han, which Bardan flew after Fi Skirata was too distraught upon learning of Atin's death.[2]
Miracle at Bavinyar
Bardan aided in the hijacking of the Valediction during the Blockade of Bavinyar, during which he helped to rescue Niner Skirata. After that, he sensed that Ameesa Darys was not far, attempting to interrogate So Plett. Wanting revenge for her killing Atin Skirata, he went with Kal Skirata, Wad'e Tay'haai, and the remaining Null ARCs to hunt her down. She ambushed them, killed Tay'haai, and cut Bardan's collarbone with her lightsaber, but he held her off for long enough during a duel that Kal was able to shoot her in the head.[2] From there, there were able to each the ship's bridge, and Bardan helped to command the battle after making himself a makeshift sling.[2]
Healing Niner
After their escape, Niner still could not live with what he had done, failing to stop Darman and allowing Darman's hate to be so all-consumed that led to Atin's death. Niner first confessed to Kal, who then relayed it to Bardan. When Bardan heard he offered to wipe the memories of both Niner and Kal. Kal declined, but Niner accepted. From then on, Bardan absorbed Niner's memories, living with the pain of having to shoot Darman, while Niner and the rest of Clan Skirata went on to believe that it was Rede who killed him.[2]
Remembrance of Darman
In 9 BBY, Bardan told Venku Skirata of his family's fate.[2] He expressed remorse about going on the Mission to Belsavis, while also agreeing that Darman was dar'manda.[2]
Personality and Traits
Following his experience with the battle meld on Bavinyar, Bardan felt that he needed to disconnect more from the Force, using it only as a tool. He described the battle meld experience as incredible, but dangerous since it separated him from his brothers. For that reason, he started going by Gotab, meaning engineer.[2]
Powers and Abilites
Jusik could use the Force to hide his presence from security cameras.[2]
