Biography
Mission to Mandalore
In 18 BBY, Darman went on mission to Mandalore with Niner and Rede, where he intended to desert. However, Roly Melusar anticipated this and secretly gave last-minute orders to Rede that they should relay the coordinates to the local garrison. Darman was extremely distraught, but less so after he learned that neither Kal Skirata nor anyone else he knew was killed in the attack. He resolved to continue his pursuit, and hoping that if he could deliver Jedi captives to Melusar, his desertion might be overlooked. He secretly told Melusar that Kal Skirata was working with Djinn Altis, and he promised to aid the Empire's pursuit of Altis using his secret communications with Kal.[2]
Mission to Belsavis
With the agreement in place, Darman was sent to Farstine, where the Eye of Palpatine was prepared to destroy a Jedi safehouse in that area. On the way there, he and Niner learned from Kal that Clan Skirata would be sending Jedi including Arligan Zey off to Belsavis. Darman still wasn't satisfied, and once they arrived at the Farstine Orbital Defense Station, he went to Roly Melusar with the fact that the Jedi safehouse was on Belsavis. Melusar was pleased and shook hands with Darman, the first time Darman had ever shaken hands with anyone.[2]
An hour later, Darman and the other commandos were sent to rendezvous with the Valediction and aid in the Destruction of Plett's Well. However, once he and the commandos arrived, they battle was already over. They were then sent to the Valediction to head to Bavinyar and aid in the Blockade of Bavinyar. At that point, he learned of how the battle went via Jaing Skirata. When he learned that A'den, Kom'rk, Prudii, and especially his squadmate Atin were killed, he immediately felt responsible. As Darman drowned in sorrows and explained what happened to Niner, he had begun to feel that protecting his son from the Jedi was a lost cause and that Kal had gone mad. Niner, knowing that Darman was a threat to Clan Skirata, took out his pistol to shoot Darman, and Darman made no move to stop him before he was shot in the neck.[2]
Personality and Traits
After the death of Etain Tur-Mukan, Darman swore revenge on the Jedi, and his depression causing him to become distant with Niner Skirata.[2]
