Arligan Zey is an existing character from Legends.[1]
Biography
Before the Clone Wars
Zey frequently worked with Tholme on the Outer Rim prior to settling into a desk job during the Clone Wars.[3]
Kyrimorut
After the clones in Clan Skirata were healed of their accelerated aging, Zey planned to seek out Jedi survivors. However, they were attacked the next morning, and Zey was forced to flee. Before doing so, he aided the evacuation, retrieving Atin Skirata and Laseema. He then escaped aboard the Aay'han.[4]
Mission to Belsavis
The Skiratas took Zey to the Chu'unthor, where he expressed uncertainty about his future plans. He was interested in visiting Altis's offer to take him to Master So Plett, whom Zey knew only by reputation. However, he found out not long after of an imminent Imperial attack on Belsavis, so he and Maze quickly volunteered to aid the evacuation. They ended up also receiving aid from Bardan Jusik and 7 other clones from Clan Skirata. After a brief dogfight in atmosphere, Zey's group landed the Aay'han and ventured into the tunnels where the Jedi hid underground. Ash Jarvee and Nor Vald were then guided in different directions by the Force, so the group split up. Zey went with Maze, Prudii, and Nor Vald, and they ended up finding Master Plett with two of the younglings, Lagan and Roganda Ismaren.[4]
While attempting to reach the hangar, they were attacked by Imperial commandos, and slowed down once Prudii was shot. Zey helped buy time by collapsing crates into the clones' way, but they were ultimately converged upon once more. Zey used the Force to telekinetically pull Maze and Prudii to safety away from the firefight, but in doing so, he let down his guard and failed to deflect a blast bolt. He was shot in the head and died.[4]
Personality and Traits
Zey liked to demonstrate his ability in the Force to sense people, making a point to speak to clones and identify them before he could see them based on their unique signatures in the Force.[2]
