The Altisian Jedi are an existing faction from Legends.[1]
History
The Altisian Jedi were formed early in 36 BBY.[2]
Kuallue left the Jedi Order to join them in late 32 BBY or early in 31 BBY, spurred on by his meeting Mars LaRone on Brentaal, whom he took as a second apprentice, contrary to the Jedi Code. He lived aboard the Chu'unthor, becoming a close friend to Djinn Altis. He was known as the oldest and wisest of the Altisian Jedi, and Djinn held him in high regard. Around 24 BBY, Djinn sent Kuallue and his apprentices, Clees and Mars LaRone, on a mission to Samaria. There, the latter fell to the Dark side and killed Clees, although Kuallue did not falter in his own commitment to the Light side. With help from Geith Eris, Kuallue was able to subdue and kill his former apprentice.[2]
In 22 BBY, early in the Clone Wars, they had a significant disagreement over their role in the war. One Altisian, Ik Millur, rejoined the mainstream Jedi Order in order to fight in the war.[2] They ended up very low on credits, which DJinn Altis helped to alleviate by taking on work for the Jedi Order early in the 16th month ABG. By this point, Kuallue had gone rogue and fallen under the sway of Sadiya Keldon at the Battle of Bandomeer, and the Jedi Order sent Djinn to find out about the battle, using a search for Kuallue as his his cover story.[2]
In 18 BBY following the Destruction of Kyrimorut, the Altisians rendezvoused with Clan Skirata. They also had sent Callista Masana and Geith Eris to Belsavis to drop off the children of Istar Ismaren, and once they learned of an impending Imperial attack, many, including some of the Mandalorians, left to aid them on Belsavis.[3]
