Biography
Early Life
Darys and her Master, Jerec, once met Jedi Master So Plett.[2]
Eye of Palpatine
In 18 BBY, she was assigned to advise Demetrius Zaarin's use of the Eye of Palpatine. She was aboard it during the Battle of Farstine, in which she telepathically learned that the Bavinyar Avengers were aided by a Jedi. Afterwards, she disembarked, and the Eye was sent to the Moonflower Nebula.[1]
Darys followed not long after, aboard the Valediction with Demetrius Zaarin and Gilad Pellaeon. Upon arriving and seeing the sabotage done with the Eye, Darys sensed the presence of Callista Masana and her immense agony. They decided to carry out the mission using only the Valediction, since the Salvation was damaged by the Eye of Palpatine.[1]
The Valediction bombarded the surface of Plett's Well with relative ease, but the Jedi moved into underground tunnels, and when Clan Skirata and two Altisian Jedi arrived to help evacuate the Jedi, Darys insisted on taking two shuttles of Imperial commandos down into the tunnels. They did so and split up to chase the two separate groups of Jedi. Darys sought them out with the Force, eventually happening upon Nor Vald, So Plett, and the Ismaren children. Darys quickly bested Vald in a duel, then she pushed aside some of the rocks that had been collapsed Maze, allowing Pellaeon and the clones to continue pursuit. They once again split into two groups, with Darys venturing alone.[1]
She encountered Bardan Jusik, Ash Jarvee, Corr, Atin, and Hallena Devis, and quickly overpowered them. Atin she cut down, Hallena she captured, Jarvee she Force-choked, and Corr she sliced off his weapon hand. However, due to Corr having cybernetic limbs, he surprised her by continuing to fight afterwards, stabbing his scorching-hot li:b into her chest. She used a burst of Force-lightning to get him off her, but the severe burn injuries gave Bardan, Ash, and Corr time to escape. She emerged from the tunnels extremely injured, but she took the opportunity to begin indoctrinating Roganda Ismaren, who had been captured by Pellaeon. She stabbed Lagan Ismaren trough the chest as his sister watched.[1]
Blockade of Bavinyar
As Darys received medical care aboard the Valediction, she insisted on being awoken quickly, receiving medications rather than spending a week in the bacta tank, as was recommended by her doctor. She then instructed Pellaeon to wake So Plett, who was under heavy sedation, in order to interrogate him.[1] She did so until she was hunted by Kal Skirata, Bardan Jusik, Wad'e Tay'haai, and the remaining Null ARCs. She killed Tay'haai and injured several of the clones, but she was hampered by injuries suffered on Belsavis. She cornered Bardan Jusik during a brief duel, but she was shot in the head by Kal Skirata, killer her.[1]
Cloning
Afterwards, she became one of the first cloning experiments done by the Empire, and her clone returned to serving as an Inquisitor.[3]
Powers and Abilities
Darys was a skilled duelist, besting Nor Vald in a quick duel. She also had strong enough telekinetic powers to Force-choke a Jedi knight, Ash Jarvee. She was also capable of Force-lightning and using Tutiminus to deflect blast bolts.[1]
Personality and Traits
Darys had darkly tanned skin and braided hair. She was extremely quiet.[1]
