The Salvation was a Venator-class Star Destroyer used in the early days of the Galactic Empire.[1]
History
It saw action at the Battle of Zhar, where it was unable to prevent the enemy dreadnaughts from escaping, and the Battle of Farstine, where it was occupied by the fleet of Zozridor Slayke. Afterwards, she was assigned to backup the Eye of Palpatine.[1]
Upon arriving at the Moonflower Nebula, they found that the Eye was malfunctioning due to sabotage. Zaarin ordered the fleet to move in in order to be able to establish communications with Ohran Keldor, who was aboard it, but once the did, the Salvation was shot at. The ship survived its hull breaches, but damage to the hyperdrive left it stranded until repairs could be made.[1]
