Biography
Mission to Belsavis
In 18 BBY, Scorch was sent off on a mission to Belsavis to aid in the Destruction of Plett's Well. However, once he and the commandos arrived, they battle was already over. They were then sent to the Valediction to head to Bavinyar and aid in the Blockade of Bavinyar. He witnessed Niner Skirata comforting a teary Darman Skirata en route and realized that something was badly wrong, but Niner told him to get out. Scorch obeyed, accidentally grabbing leaving his helmet behind.[2]
Mutiny
After discussion between Darman and Niner resulted in one dead and one taken prisoner by Rede, the deck was locked down, and Scorch grabbed a replacement helmet, which happened to be Niner's. It included a secure comlink to speak with Clan Skirata, so during a briefing, Scorch heard from Jaing, Kal Skirata, and Walon Vau. Vau explained how Atin Skirata had been killed on Belsavis, while Scorch told his old sergeant how one of either Darman or Niner had been killed. Vau then promised that they could reverse the clones' aging if they deserted, so Scorch quickly rounded up his squadmates to plan an escape.[2]
They met up with Clan Skirata at an airlock, then went with along with a group led by Walon Vau and A'Sharad Hett to the climate control center, where they were able to spread a virus to sicken the other clones. Scorch and the Deltas were given a vaccine, so once Ovolot Qail Uthan started to use the devices in the room to spread Rhinacyria, they weren't impacted. Once it was secure and guarded by Yayax Squad, Scorch, Vau, Hett, and the others went to storm the bridge. It proved to have little difficulty, as their adversaries were weak and unable to put up much of a fight.[2]
After Gilad Pellaeon and Mynar Vernedet were not found on the bridge, Scorch went with Joc, Boss, Hett, and Parja Bralor to stop them from causing a self-destruct. They succeeded, killing Vernedet in the process, but Pellaeon, the captive Hallena Devis, and Rede, who was believed to have killed Darman, were all missing. Boss, Scorch, Hett, and Joc went to track them down. Pellaeon was sent off on an escape pod, while Rede was killed and Hallena left behind.[2]
Personality and Traits
Scorch was deeply shaken by the loss of Sev, and he didn't connect with his replacement, Joc. Instead, he often talked with Niner Skirata.[2]
