Teun Mu was the Sullustan captain of the Venture who was trapped in Selbar during the Battle of Bandomeer.[1]

Biography

Late in the 14th month of the Clone Wars, Mu took the Venture away from Thomquizzar to Bandomeer, where he was able to avoid the bulk of their fleet and deliver supplies to Selbar, but the ship took enough damage that it required significant repairs, and the fleet moved in to trap him dirtside, hiding under the shield. Mu became the Separatist second-in-command behind General Grievous, but he had little to contribute when it came to ground combat. The Venture was cannibalized for parts, with its turbolasers being used as point defense throughout the city and other engine parts repairing the Demask, which Mu became captain of. Despite this, he maintained his quarters on the Venture, as if holding out hope that his old ship was repairable.[1]

When General Grievous chose to leave Selbar and try to kill Sadiya Keldon and Kuallue, Mu was present for the planning but said little. After the mission's failure, Mu relayed orders from the Separatist Council that Grievous was too valuable to be captured, and he devised a plan to send out Vulture Droids flying low, hugging the cliff face to prevent them from being targeted by the Republic's anti-air guns at camp aurek. A few minutes later, TeenPat carried out this plan.[1]

Mu continued to remain aboard the two Separatist capital ships, and he worked to establish clearer communication protocols between the Separatists and Babteer Pil, ensuring that the irregular navy could effectively coordinate itself when it was needed. That happened after Selbar's shield went down in the 2nd day of month 16 ABG, and Mu took command of the aerial battle. Grievous ordered him to launch fighters, using them to distract the Kalpana that was bombarding them, while the Demask would remain in place with shields up.[1] They performed admirably, buying time for Separatists on the ground to spread out and mobilize.[1]

Grievous was able to march directly into the Galactic Republic's camp aurek and begin siezing the starships, at which point Mu took off with the Demask, leading the Kalpana on a chase away from Selbar. The Kalpana, chaotic with the lack of working communications, saw Kuallue, Captain Karne, and Admiral Dorain struggling to relay orders to other parts of the ship.[1] When they were attacked by Grievous's new hijacked fleet, Kuallue went back and forth on his orders, causing further confusion until it was too late. Their engines were targeted, and multiple were destroyed in the confusion, causing the battlecruiser to crash.[1]

With the destruction of the Kalpana, it freed the way for the Separatists to flee the planet. However, Grievous was feeling confident and instead decided to stand and fight against the two remaining Acclamator-class Assault Ships. When he described his strategy to Mu, Mu concluded that Grievous must have some reinforcements that he didn't know about. With that in mind, Grievous carried on with his plan, figuring that Sadiya Keldon would come to the same conclusion Mu did and retreat. In reality, the reinforcements were still many hours away. [1]

After a rendezvous on the Demask, Grievous ordered WanThir to take command of the Micah Giiett, their second-largest starship, while he sent LilVas to get more supplies from camp aurek. Grievous, Teun Mu, and TeenPat stayed on the bridge of the Demask. The Micah Giiett and Demask fought back-to-back for the final battle with remaining Republic naval forces. However, the former was quickly damaged, and an ion bomb knocked their shields offline for a minute. They would've been destroyed were it not for a sacrifice by LilVas, which bought WanThir's crew time to get their shields back up.[1]

Later, both ships were forced to disengage and go further into the planet's gravity well, which Sadiya Keldon interpreted as a trap, trying to lure her ships downward so that that could be surrounded by incoming Separatist reinforcements. As Grievous had hoped, Keldon retreated, and the Separatists took control of Bandomeer.[1]
