The Demask was a Munificent-class Star Frigate that was used by the Separatists during the Battle of Bandomeer.[1]
History
Despite being damaged in the initial battle in the 14th month ABG, it was able to land in Selbar, where the Separatists made repairs. Given the loss of the Huakil, General Grievous transferred his command center to it.[1]
The Demask served in this role as the primary Separatist headquarters until the 2nd day of month 16 ABG, when sabotage of Selbar's shields finally forced it to take off and see action. Teun Mu used it to lure the Kalpana away from Selbar, ultimately distracting its crew so that she could be taken down by a complement of Republic starships hijacked by General Grievous. The Separatists rendezvoused aboard the Demask, including escaped prisoner TeenPat, who gave a rousing speech on its bridge as they headed into a final battle for Bandomeer. Rather than flee the planet, he chose to stand his ground and fight the two remaining Acclamator-class Assault Ships, attempting to seize control of it. This was interpreted by the Republic as a trap, who suspected that Grievous had incoming reinforcements, so they fled.[1]
