Bandomeer is an existing planet in Legends.[2]
History
When the Jedi Agricultural Corps established farms near Bandor, they were at too small of a scale to significantly improve the planet, which remained polluted and impoverished.[1]
Bandomeer proclaimed loyalty to Count Dooku more than 10 months prior to the beginning of the Clone Wars, and it served as an important stronghold for the Confederacy during the first 14 months of the war.[1]
Around the 18th day of month 14 of the Clone Wars, it was invaded by the Republic.[1] However, the town of Selbar remained as a Separatist holdout, and other rural areas of the planet remained fiercely Secessionist, displaying anti-Republic slogans without much fear of retribution.[1] By the 15th month of the Clone Wars, Bandomeer suffered economic troubles, with tariffs imposed on it for its secession. Foodstuffs and other imported goods had cost hikes and shortages despite promises by newly-installed Loyalist governor Cralto Aquizoon.[1]
On the 2nd day of month 16 ABG, Grievous destroyed the Kalpana in a stunning move before tricking the remaining two Acclamator-class Assault Ships into retreating, bringing Bandomeer back under Separatist control.[1] Governor LanBeeb was reinstated.[1]
Geography
Bandomeer had only one proper city, Bandor, but it did have many smaller towns of fewer than 1,000,000 inhabitants. Bandomeer's sun rose in the west and set in the east.[1]
