Mas Amedda is an existing Legends character.[1]

Biography

After the Emperor's death at Endor, Amedda patiently awaited his master's return on Byss,[2] while also experimenting in secret with creating Force-sensitive offspring of his own in the laboratories beneath the Emperor's Citadel.[3]

Soon after Palpatine came back to life in a clone body, he revealed to Amedda that his body was decaying at an accelerated rate, and that he would require mass death to sustain himself and to provide the energy for his eventual conquest of the Chaos. To that end, he tasked Amedda with assembling engineers to create new superweapons, among them Umak Leth, Nasdra Magrody and Sigit Ranth. Amedda was unable to procure Magrody, as he had been abducted by Roganda Ismaren, but Leth soon created a working prototype World Devastator based on designs dreamed up by Palpatine's son Triclops.

When Cronal died at Mindor, Palpatine tasked Amedda with sending someone to investigate; Amedda sent Jeng Droga, who eventually returned with Cronal's rock-encased remains. Amedda was present when Palpatine used the Kaan Heptad to dominate every darksider in the galaxy, and then to contain the explosion of Byss' star Beshqek, which resulted in the destruction of Palpatine's clone body.[2] Afterwards, Amedda led many of the assembled darksiders into the subterranean levels of the Citadel, where they found all of Palpatine's other clone bodies dead.[3]
