Kaan Heptad

The Kaan Heptad was a set of seven amulets created by Lord Skere Kaan during his lifetime. When united, the Heptad allowed a Force user controlling them to draw on the powers of everyone in the galaxy who had ever touched the dark side.

At the time of the Galactic Civil War, one amulet from the Heptad was embedded in the Glove of Darth Vader. By late 5 ABY, Palpatine had collected the remainder of the amulets on Byss; when Lumiya delivered the Glove of Darth Vader to him, he extracted the final amulet, thus completing the Heptad. Assembling six of his most powerful servants, Palpatine intended to use the Heptad to draw every darksider in the galaxy to him and compel their obedience. Just when he was about to do so, however, the sun of the Beshqek system went supernova, forcing Palpatine to draw on all available power in order to contain it. Palpatine's clone died in the effort, and the Heptad was broken.
