Umak Leth is an existing character from Legends.[1]
In 5 ABY, the reborn Palpatine tasked Mas Amedda with summoning Leth to Byss to devise new superweapons. Leth was then sent to the Thomork system to create prototype World Devastators by upgrading the Imperial Leviathans stationed there, on the basis of designs dreamed up by Triclops. After sending the prototype to Byss, Leth remained at Thomork to make sure no evidence remained of his project.[2]
