General Grievous's Decoy was a droid that was created by Chiv Dol using General Grievous's spare parts.[1]

History

Construction

Chiv Dol spent many months trying to construct it, scavenging unneeded and damaged parts from his supply that could repair Grievous. Ultimately, the project was completed during the Battle of Bandomeer when Grievous was unable to use the majority of his limbs due to damage to his NDS Converters. As such, he donated the limbs to Dol's project to be used on the decoy.[1]

Usage in Selbar

The decoy saw action on the 2nd day of month 16 ABG, where it was first deployed on Selbar's east side, working to repel the army of Clone Troopers and AT-TEs. As that battle began to wind down, Grievous ordered the decoy to go aid his forces aboard the Venture, the grounded Lucrehulk-class Battleship that was doubling as a backup shield generator for the town. The decoy went with a dozen B2 Super Battle Droids, but the saboteur, Kuallue had already completed his work. The decoy successfully cornered Kuallue and would've been able to prevent his escape, but then Selbar's primary shield went down, and Grievous ordered the droids to flee.[1]

Sabotage of the Kalpana

The decoy and his B2 escort left Kuallue and fled west of Selbar via two Sheathipede-class Shuttles, but they were pursued by Kuallue and caught in a tractor beam by the Kalpana. After their ship was disabled, they were forced to dock, where Kuallue and a large number of clones were planning to imprison Grievous. However, they were ambushed by Colicoid Infiltrator-series Droids, who allowed the decoy to escape. Kuallue pursued along with Djinn Altis and Nan Latourain, and they ultimately cornered the decoy in a room with the sensor array, which the droids were able to sabotage. Afterwards, they were defeated by the Jedi and clones. Grievous's decoy was crushed and decapitated, at which point the Jedi realized that they had killed a decoy.[1]
