SalDin was a soldier in the Babteer Pil who participated in a mission to smuggle supplies into Selbar via unused water pipes.[1]
Biography
SalDin was a Babteer Pil soldier who was trained by BalVeen before becoming one of many Separatists trapped in Selbar during the Battle of Bandomeer.[1]
In chosen in part for his small size, which allowed him to fit into a narrow pipe that had been used to supply water to Selbar before the valve was sealed by the Republic. However, the Republic left only a small group of Clone Troopers at the pipe exit, which allowed SalDin, WaltinNab, MalDeep, and MapLeet to escape through it, entering the Lake Nilseen Water Treatment Facility, killing the clones and rendezvousing with Pilhak Niraski. They then sent supplies including medicines and dehydrated foods back through the tunnels, pulled along by a small group of ASP-5R Labor Droids. SalDin was injured by a Thermal Detonator during the battle, breaking his jaw and left arm, while suffering burns on his back. He did not return the way he came, but it was unknown to Separatist command whether he was killed, captured, or evacuated to other parts of Bandomeer.[1]
SalDin was captured and taken to the Kalpana, where he was rescued by Colicoid Infiltrator-series Droids in the 2nd day of month 16 ABG. There, he joined more than a dozen liberated captives who aided the droids in sabotaging the Kalpana's comms array.[1]
Afterwards, they stole V-19 Torrents and aided in attacking the Kalpana from the outside. Once the Kalpana was defeated, most of the group rendezvoused with the rest of the Separatists aboard the Demask.[1]
