"Squid Lake: The Choreographer's Tale" is a short story written by Francesca Pallopides. It is the first story in the Tales from the Galaxies Opera House anthology, and was also the first story released from that collection.[1]

In contrast to the other, plot-centered stories in the collection, "Squid Lake" centers entirely around an interview with the choreographer of the titular opera.
