Astrid Meadows is the pen name for fan fiction author Mortis, alternatively known by the handles BasedKat09 and DeRigueurMortis. Mortis is the author of various Star Wars fanworks, including the Dark Days series. Most of her Star Wars works concern the largely-unexplored era of the early New Sith Wars, however she has also written stories set during the time of the Old Republic, as well as "what-ifs" and rewrites of existing canon material. She is also the current webmaster for the Star Wars: ReExpanded project.
Outside of the Star Wars space, she is an author of original fiction, avid musician, and game designer with Rad Software.
