Darth Cinder (born Lysara Synder; 2033 BBY-1971 BBY) was a female Human Sith Lord during the early New Sith Wars. Initially serving as Shadow Hand to Darth Ruin, Cinder became Dark Lady of the Sith after killing her master in 1998 BBY. Cinder's attempt to reorganize the Sith Order, foregoing the idea of a consolidated empire in favor of a tetrarchy, was considered unorthodox by her contemporaries and later historians alike.

Like much of the early Draggulch Period, most of the finer details of Cinder's reign have been lost to galactic history. Official Republic records place her death at the fictional Siege of Dubhlachan, conceived to cover up the Republic's involvement in the disastrous Battle of Uba IV.
