Biography
Battle of Endor
During the Battle of Endor, Makati's star destroyer Steadfast was among the last to escape from the Death Star, barely avoiding the blast radius. Steadfast navigated around the Sanctuary Moon, away from the battle, taking Makati and his fellow Grand Admiral Miltin Takel to safety.[2]
Hunting the Prophets of the Dark Side
After bombarding Space Station Scardia to eradicate the false Prophets of the Dark Side, Makati received a transmission from Lumiya informing him that the real Prophets were hiding on Bosthirda. Makati allowed Azrakel to take the boy Ken, whom Azrakel had retrieved from Scardia, aboard Steadfast.
Arriving at Bosthirda, Makati assembled a bombardment line to attack the planet, consisting of Steadfast supported by one Victory-class Star Destroyer, two Pursuit-class light cruisers, one Gozanti-class Assault Carrier, and a Torpedo Sphere. However, Bosthirda's moon exploded before they could attack, and large parts of the Torpedo Sphere's complement of torpedos were turned back on the attackers by the Dreaming Vineyard of Bosthirda. Makati pulled his fleet back before the Vineyard could start flinging moon shards at them. The Prophets were defeated by Azrakel, who had set out for Bosthirda from Steadfast with Ken stowing away, with assistance from Lumiya and Carnor Jax, who arrived in the system soon after Makati.[3]
