The Pendarian embassy was a skyhook on Coruscant belonging to ambassador Sa-Di of Pendari, a darksider and member of Palpatine's inner circle.
Sa-Di hosted gala dinners on his skyhook, which was unique due to its reversed artificial gravity, such that visitors would look "up" at the surface of Coruscant through the cupola of the main room. For some time after the Battle of Endor, Dame Vita Veruna and her ward, Palpatine's great-niece Ederlathh Pallopides, lived in the Pendarian embassy as guests. In 5 ABY, after letting his apprentice Baddon Fass loose on Coruscant to cause mass destruction, Sa-Di left for Byss together with Fass and activated the skyhook's self-destruct program, crashing it into the cityscape below.[1]
