Biography
Battle of Endor
At the Battle of Endor, Kiles L'toth commanded the Dornean gunship Braha'tok. Together with her sister ship, the Torktarak under Etahn A'baht, the two ships fought as an independent Dornean unit on loan to the Rebel Alliance. During the battle, in which the gunships proved crucial to capturing Grand Admiral Teshik, the Braha'tok's command deck took numerous hits, and a piece of shrapnel sliced off L'toth's right leg below the knee. He was fitted with a second-rate prosthetic in the immediate aftermath of the battle, walking with an uncomfortable limp. Three days after the battle, L'toth and A'baht met with Admirals Ackbar and Nantz aboard Home One, where A'baht declared their intention to return to Dornea, and they were shown a recording of Teshik's interrogation in which the grand admiral claimed that the Rebel Alliance's battle was just beginning.[2]
Battle of Rathalay
In 27 ABY, L'toth served as first officer aboard the Dornean battleship Charnak under the command of Etahn A'baht when A'baht brought a six-ship relief force to Rathalay following a call for help from A'baht's old friend Pollum Morano of the New Republic Fifth Fleet. After helping hold back the Yuuzhan Vong to let the remaining New Republic forces escape the system, L'toth and the Dornean forces returned to Dornea, having lost one ship in the battle.[3]
Personal life
Kiles L'toth had a son, Been L'toth, who was born before 13 BBY[4] and would eventually follow in his father's footsteps as an officer in the Dornean Navy.[2]
Personality and traits
Kiles L'toth was more enthusiastic about supporting the Rebel Alliance, and later the New Republic, than his friend and colleague Etahn A'baht. A'baht thought of him as an eternal optimist.[2]
