Ilthmar's Fist
Ilthmar's Fist is an existing battlecruiser from Legends.[1] In ReExpanded, it has been established as a Praetor II-class battleship.[2]
History
Battle of Endor
Soon after the Death Star's shields fell, Ilthmar's Fist took a series of crippling blows. Its commanding officer Admiral Harrsk sustained life-threatening injuries and had to be put in a bacta tank. When Captain Pellaeon gave the order to retrat to Annaj, Ilthmar's Fist was the first capital ship to leave.[2]
War council at Annaj
When the Imperial fleet regrouped in the Annaj system, Ilthmar's Fist was the second most powerful vessel there after Jerec's Vengeance, which had already been waiting there. When Harrsk, now in a hover chair and fitted with a respirator, took a shuttle to Vengeance to participate in Jerec's war council, he ordered the Fist's captain to get a firing solution on the Vengeance. Harrsk transmitted the audio feed from the war council to the Fist's bridge, and when Jerec tried to stop him from leaving, he gave the order to destroy the Vengeance in twenty seconds. After the time had almost elapsed, Harrsk extended the period for another two minutes, using the threat to cow Jerec into letting him and most of the other participants in the war council leave. Upon Harrsk's return to Ilthmar's Fist, he gave the order to jump towards the Deep Core, inviting the other Imperial ships to follow him.[2]
Rediscovery and scrapping
After Harrsk's death in 12 ABY, Ilthmar's Fist was discovered at Harrsk's Deep 3 shipyards in the Deep Core by Admiral Pellaeon's forces. At this point, Ilthmar's Fist was too damaged to warrant repair, so Pellaeon ordered it scrapped and its pieces used to repair the Star Dreadnoughts Dominion and Megador that were found at the same shipyards.[2]
