Biography
Battle of Endor
During the Battle of Endor, Admiral Harrsk sustained life-threatening injuries and was put into a bacta tank after the loss of the Death Star's shields, but before the Executor crashed into the Death Star. His ship, the Praetor II-class battlecruiser Ilthmar's Fist, then was the first to jump to hyperspace after Captain Pellaeon gave the order to retreat to Annaj.[2]
War council at Annaj
By the time the Ilthmar's Fist arrived at Annaj, Harrsk had been fitted with a respirator mask and was able to move around in a hoverchair. He used a shuttle to transfer to the Vengeance, where Inquisitor Jerec hosted a war council. From the beginning, Harrsk was combative towards the other participants of the council. He insisted Pellaeon had had no authority to pull back the fleet while he was still alive, denied having been near death, and stated that he would never hand command over to Jerec, whom he called a "blind wizard." Harrsk's demand to return to Endor with the remains of the fleet, including Vengeance, was met with skepticism and resistance by Jerec and others. When Jerec declared that he meant to form a new empire and search out the Valley of the Jedi, Harrsk angrily rebuffed him and left, countering Jerec's attempt to stop him by revealing that he had been transmitting the audio feed from the war council to the Ilthmar's Fist and ordering the Fist's captain to destroy the Vengeance if he did not report back momentarily. Returning to the Ilthmar's Fist, Harrsk decided to head for the Deep Core instead of Endor, and invited all Imperial ships to join him.[2]
Legacy
After Harrsk's death in 12 ABY, his flagship Ilthmar's Fist was found alongside the Star Dreadnoughts Dominion and Megador at the Deep 3 shipyards in the Deep Core. Ilthmar's Fist was too damaged to warrant repair, and its parts were used to repair the two Star Dreadnoughts instead.[2]
