The Department of Punishment is an existing organization from Legends.[1]

In early 6 ABY, the President of the Department of Punishment colluded with Sarcev Quest in compiling a dossier about Ysanne Isard to be used against her when the opportunity arose.[2] During that time, the Department of Punishment was also holding the disgraced Moffs Muzzer, Thistleborn and Dunhausen in subterranean dungeons below the Imperial Palace, awaiting their execution at Ysanne Isard's discretion.[3]
