DV-9

DV-6 is an existing droid from Legends.

In 3 ABY, shortly after the Battle of Hoth, DV-9 was aboard the Shroud together with Zak and Tash Arranda and their uncle Hoole when they received a distress signal from the Keefe's Needle. When it turned out that everyone aboard the Keefe's Needle had recently succumbed to parasites, Hoole sent DV-9 to board the ship. After documenting the interior, DV-9 sterilized the Keefe's Needle on Hoole's instruction, allowing the Arrandas and Hoole to come aboard without fear of infection. The Arrandas and Hoole later took on the identities of the ships's occupants and traveled to Byss with the Imperial Lottery tokens they found aboard; whether DV-9 joined them is unknown.
