Borborygmus Gog
Borborygmus Gog is an existing character from Legends.[1]
On Kiva, Gog was absorbed by his creature Eppon and became part of the creature together with the souls of the Kivans whose deaths he had caused. Tormented by the souls but still alive, he was brought to Byss.
On Byss, Palpatine made Gog his Constable of Homunculi. He had a vocabulator installed in Gog's flesh to enable him to communicate, and assigned Mammon Hoole as Gog's handler and assistant. Palpatine tasked Gog and Hoole with researching ways to create a clone of Palpatine that would be able to procreate. In the course of this research, Gog sometimes accidentally absorbed samples and test subjects when they touched his skin.
When Palpatine learned that an earlier project of Gog's, Triclops, had produced a son, Ken, the Emperor tasked Hoole with bringing that son to him to further Gog's research. However, Hoole failed to retrieve Ken and defected to the New Republic, sending Triclops' severed and preserved head to Byss by way of apology. Gog constructed a life-support system for the head so that it could continue dreaming up designs for novel superweapons.[2]
After the death of Palpatine's clone body in late 5 ABY, Gog locked himself inside a metal closet to avoid absorbing the escaped menagerie in the subterranean levels of the Imperial Citadel.[3]
