Implacable (Star Destroyer)
Implacable is an existing Star Destroyer from Legends.[1]
In 5 ABY, Implacable participated in the Battle of Tralus on Grand Admiral Grunger's side under the command of Captain Apwar Trigit. On Grunger's orders, Implacable and another star destroyer under the command of Captain Walen engaged Grand Admiral Pitta's forward line but waited for Grunger's flagship Aggressor before breaking through. When Pitta used his Torpedo Sphere to target Grunger's forces, with the help of telemetry supplied by a New Republic agent aboard Aggressor, Grunger's fleet took heavy damage, presumably including Implacable. After the battle, Grand Admiral Grant gave the remaining Imperial forces in the system ten minutes to surrender to him; as Captain Trigit and Implacable later served under Grant, it can be assumed that Trigit surrendered and Implacable was repaired either at Corellia, Rothana, or Damoria.[2]
After being repaired, Implacable joined the Super Star Destroyer Vengeance, newly added to Ysanne Isard's forces after Jerec's death and commanded by Grand Admiral Grant, in a mission to support Grand Admiral Makati at the Battle of Etti IV. There, Grant tasked Trigit with hunting down a Mon Calamari ship that was trying to escape from the battle zone. After Grant spontaneously left the battle aboard Oriflamme and Vengeance's captain Sysco deserted with his ship, Implacable was the only Imperial ship left in orbit while Makati's forces were struggling in Etti IV's atmosphere. Makati died at the end of the battle, leaving the chain of command in the system unclear;[2] the immediate further fate of Implacable is unknown, but by 7.5 ABY Trigit and Implacable were part of Warlord Zsinj's forces.[3]
