Biography
A man apart
After his split with the Rebel Alliance, Bel Iblis employed a network of secret operatives, the Advance Field Operations Section (AFOS), to sow conflict within the Empire. After the Battle of Endor, AFOS staged attacks on Imperial warlords while making it look as if the attacks had been ordered by other warlords. Among others, Moff Par Lankin and Pentastar executive Elta Besk were killed by AFOS members.
Bel Iblis also sent one of his agents, Radielle "Radie" Felian, to spy on the New Republic by enlisting as an A-wing pilot in 7 ABY.[2]
Re-emergence
In 9 ABY, shortly after the Battle for the Katana Fleet, Bel Iblis dispatched some of his forces to help in a mission to capture the ship thief Niles Ferrier at Kemal.[2]
Family
Bel Iblis and his wife Arriyanya Bel Iblis had two daughters named Zahr and Rosalyn, who were killed in an attack meant for Bel Iblis by 2 ABY.[2]
Legacy
Garm Bel Iblis died peacefully in his bed in 37 ABY. His funeral was held aboard the Galactic Alliance Executor-class Star Destroyer Guardian in the Corellian system. During the funeral, his coffin was shot into Corellia's sun from aboard the Guardian.[3]
