Biography
After stealing a list of the Emperor's storehouses from the unfinished Eclipse over Kuat, Zann embarked on a six-month campaign to raid those storehouses, which ranged from lockers on Denon to the Emperor's Retreat on Naboo. During this time, Zann also sent his lieutenant Urai Fen to hunt for the Nightsister Silri, who had absconded from Eclipse with a holocron that led her to the Carbonite Sith Army on Rhelg. Fen eventually hunted her down, enlisting the help of the boy Ken on the way; Fen was killed by Silri, but his remaining crew brought Ken, who had defeated Silri by cutting off her arms, back to a rendezvous with Zann in deep space. Aboard his flagship Merciless, Zann offered to hire Ken for a mission to hire the Emperor's personal resort world of Byss. However, Mokce Tu, a member of the expedition to catch Silri, had betrayed Zann's location to Warlord Zsinj. When Zsinj's forces appeared in the system, Zann shot Mokce Tu, then let himself be taken to Zsinj's Super Star Destroyer Iron Fist. There, he tried to convince Zsinj to form an alliance with the Zann Consortium, but was shot by Zsinj.[2]
