The Bortras system is an existing star system from Legends.[1]
At some point before the Battle of Sullust in 5 ABY, Inquisitor Jerec's Vengeance was sighted in the system, later allowing New Republic Intelligence to identify the ship by name.[2]
That same year, shortly after the Battle of Sullust, the trading magnate Aryn Dro Thul received intelligence that interdictor cruisers had been deployed to Bortras, which she interpreted as evidence that Superior General Sander Delvardus had given up on his plan to attack Coruscant and was concentrating on shoring up the territory of his Eriadu Authority instead.[3]
