Ask Aak was the Gran senator from Malastare during the fall of the Republic.[1]
Biography
In the 14th month of the Clone Wars, in response to the success of Sadiya Keldon at the Battle of Bandomeer, Aak introduced a bill that would allow increased opportunities for Clone Troopers and non-Jedi to be promoted with the Galactic Republic military. It also founded the position known as the Chancellor's Hand. The bill had the support of Palpatine.[2]
Following the Declaration of a New Order in 19 BBY, Aak founded and led a committee to oversee the censorship and destruction of "degenerate" art.[3]
