Spitfire Flight was the name for a flight of four A-Wings formed from the remnants of the New Republic's Polearm Squadron, which had been almost completely destroyed at the Battle of Selaggis in 7 ABY.
The members of Spitfire Flight were Commander Todra Mayn, Dorset Konnair, Radielle "Radie" Felian, and Linna Irarch, who suggested the name for the flight.
During the Thrawn campaign in 9 ABY, Spitfire Flight was attached to Wraith Squadron for a time, fighting a delaying action against Thrawn's forces at Tatooine and participating in a mission to Kemal.[1]
