Paks Veem was an information dealer who was active in the early days of the Galactic Alliance.[1]
Biography
Veem was mildly Force-sensitive and attended the Jedi Praxeum at some point after 22 ABY, training mostly under Dorsk 82, though he quickly dropped out.[1] Though he did not aspire at galactic domination as a Sith, he began to use his powers to make wealth for himself with criminal dealings.[1]
By 38 ABY, he had been followed by Galactic Alliance Intelligence for some time, on worlds including Malastare and Ord Mantell as well as roughly six other worlds.[1]
In 38 ABY, Veem took a ship under the name Red Ace from Contruum to Coruscant, landing at Manari Spaceport. He used the fake ID "Melno Teem," and reused that fake ID when renting a speeder. He then met with Neev Alsok and a Trandoshan at the Mynock's Roost on Coruscant. When he found that he was being watched by Jacen Solo and Ben Skywalker, he chose to leave. He shot at the Jedi in a brief firefight, then escaped via his rented speeder near the bar's balcony.[1]
The next day, Veem, Alsok, and a human stole a YT freighter from Calumar Spaceport and took off along the Perlemian Trade Route.[1]
Personality and Traits
Veem was described by his classmate Jacen Solo as being poorly behaved and difficult to teach.[1]
Powers and Abilities
Veem's Force powers were limited, although he was reasonably capable at reading people's emotions and thoughts.[1]
