Provocateur (Star Destroyer)

Provocateur was an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer in the service of Grand Admiral Thrawn.

History

In 9 ABY, Provocateur was stationed in the Atravis system when it was baited into an attack by a New Republic task force intending to trap it near the planet Atravis V. However, Imperial reinforcements arrived and the New Republic forces barely escaped being trapped in turn.

Later that same year, Provocateur participated in an offensive up the Triellus Trade Route alongside the ISDs Gray Wolf and Agonizer. It engaged a New Republic delaying force consisting of Mon Remonda, Ession Strike, as well as Rogue Squadron and Wraith Squadron, at Tatooine.
