Hajir Ravaal was a Separatist commander during the Siege of Saleucami. [1]
Biography
Ravaal joined the Separatist army almost immediately after Kooriva seceded, and he was proud when his group of fusiliers that was selected to fight offworld.[1]
At the Battle of Moorja, he was promoted to a Major.[1]
He later joined the Separatist forces on Saleucami, running their base in the city of Sagujeru. There, was demoted by Tol Skorr to Private after Republic Gunships got inside his shield due to Skorr's own command.[1] However, Skorr never formally announced it to the droids, so Ravaal was still able to take command in Skorr's absence.[1]
Hajir saved the city by finding a bug introduced by Heke and restarteing the reactor, which dropped their shield for a minute but spared it in the long run. However, this was rendered moot when Skorr's forces failed to effectively defend the reactor from a direct attack by Heke's commandos, which dropped the shield and allowed Republic forces to swarm in. Skorr retreated and left Ravaal in command, but his forces were quickly overwhelmed by General K'Kruhk. Ravaal then surrendered, participating in a long series of negotiations.[1]
Personality and Traits
Ravaal managed the base's day to day opertions in Sagujeru, and Skorr found him boring.[1] Out of uniform, he decorated his cranial horn with gems. After his surrender, Maze found him to be remarkably reasonable.[1]
Skills and Abilities
Ravaal was a veteran infantry commander who prided himself on discipline, and he was far more tactically savvy than Tol Skorr.[1]
