In 5 ABY, Geptun travelled to Mount Yoda on Dagobah with Luke Skywalker while he was finishing the rewrite of his account of Skywalker's actions at Mindor. He had just finished the rewrite in a room deep within the DRAPAC facility on Mount Yoda when the darksider Jeng Droga burst into the room. Droga used the Force to pull all information pertaining to the battle of Mindor out of Geptun's mind. Geptun, in turn, learned of Palpatine's rebirth on Byss through Droga's touch; but before he could tell Skywalker, Droga killed Geptun by beheading him.[2]
