Legacy's Edge III: The Waiting Dark is a fan fiction novel written by HandofThrawn45 (also known by his pen name as Gregory O. Scott). The book is the third novel in the Legacy's Edge series and serves as a sequel to the novel Legacy's Edge II: Empire of Light. It was originally published on May 17th, 2020.[1] A sequel to the novel, Legacy's Edge IV: Perfect Night, was published 29th October, 2020.[2]
Chronologically the book takes place 25 years following the events of the first novel, 8 years following the events of the second novel, and 28 years prior to the events of the next installment Legacy's Edge IV: Perfect Night.
