Kal'shikar is a planet.[1]
History
The planet was ecologically damaged by the Clone Wars and was less hospitable afterwards, making it impossible to farm.[1] In 19 BBY, the Pride of Chandrila crashed on the planet. Its valuables were looted by the native Shikari. Two kilometers south of the Chandrila was a Lucrehulk-class Battleship that had crashed, but its command sphere was relatively unscathed. The planet would later by settled by Jedi-in-exile K'Kruhk.[1]
Description
The planet was very hot and harsh, forcing the native Shikari to constantly migrate to stay in its slightly more temperate twilight. It was almost tidally locked, ensuring that days were very long, almost a standard year, and giving the Shikari enough to time to migrate around the planet in a day.[1]
