Ge'verd, or RC-7009, was a Republic Commando who was sergeant of Tihaar Squad.[1]
Biography
Ge'verd was trained by Wad'e Tay'haai alongside Jatne in a squad that lost its two other members during the Battle of Geonosis. Ge'verd was nearly killed as well. He and Jatne then merged with another half killed squad, forming Tihaar Squad.[1]
Saleucami
Tihaar Squad went to Saleucami to aid Oppo Rancisis in the Siege of Saleucami, and their gunship was snuck into the city of Sagujeru before crash-landing. They were attacked afterwards by snipers in a nearby building, but the squad made their way inside and began to clear their way upwards, rendezvousing with Heke and Lock, who had managed their way onto the roof and had cleared the bulk of forces on the ninth floor.[1]
They hijacked an MTT that they used to flee the scene unnoticed along with their wounded, and they headed for the substation that was their original target.[1] There, Heke introduced a bug that nearly overloaded the entire system, but Hajir Ravaal noticed what was happening and issued a reboot to prevent Heke's bug from destroying the military reactors.[1]
Thus, Heke and the commandos returned to the MTT, where they enacted Plan B: a direct assault on the magma reactor itself. The commandos fought their way inside, destroying at least one Droideka and making their way past several scared Ugnaught technicians.[1] They also defeated a group of Morgukai sent after them, though either Ge'verd or Jatne was killed in the combat. One of the last Morgukai, Ogdai, flooded one of the reactors with lava in an attempt to trigger and automatic lockdown. This failed due to the sacrifice of the other commando, who wedged his wounded body into a doorway to keep it open. The subsequent flood of lava into the chamber him while also disabling the shield and rendering the city without power.[1]
